Anemia
Anemia causes largely due to deficiency of vitamin B such as folic acid, vitamin B12 and lack of iron. Vitamin B Complex is highly significant in the cases of anemia and they mainly help in producing red blood cells. Lack of folic acid also could be a cause of Anemia as it is crucial for the formation of healthy blood cells in the bone marrow. The deficiency of vitamin B12 is a responsible element in causing destructive anemia. It is found plenty in animal protein and some plant based foods. B12 contributes largely and essentially in formation of new blood cells, maintenance of growth and the myelination of nerve and brain fibers. A deficiency of B12 would result in destruction of blood cells quickly after formation. It is advisable that those people mainly consuming vegetarian food and avoid any animal products should add the supplement of b12 with their routine diet. The herbs chlorella and Spirulina contains vitamin B12 in remarkable volume. Vitamin E is significant in aiding the assimilation of organic iron such as ferrous sulfate which is frequently prescribed for anemia. Vitamin E helps iron to be absorbed by the cells. Ferric iron is used in many iron supplements is like rust and is poorly assimilated by the body. Both ferric and ferrous iron added to the food can be deposited in the liver and can cause constipation. Vitamin C largely improves the absorption of iron from plant based foods. It has been observed that people who frequently consume tea, coffee and chocolate are found either anemic or having the deficiency of iron. The tea or coffee should not be taken more than a cup after the meal. There are some natural ways to get iron like fresh fruits and vegetable juices are the best way to provide the required quota of iron, immediately. The beetroot juice is a great natural source that helps in building red blood cells count in anemia and improve the blood. It is very strong drink but could be added with other juices and taken.
The most common reason of fatigue is deficiency of iron or anemia. Fatigue is also linked with hypothyroidism and hypoglycemia. If someone is suffering from fatigue, they can recover iron from natural food and supplements. Iron is largely responsible for attracting oxygen to the body and carrying this to all body systems, tissues and organs. Iron is the beauty element for rosy cheeks and fair complexion. The symptoms of anemia could be observed as – unusual fatigue and lack of energy, physical weakness, breathing problems and dizziness, hazy thinking, flatulence, brittle nails and pale skin, depression and short attention span, overall itching, headaches, heartburn, nausea after meals, constipation or diarrhea, hair loss, ringing in the ears, irritability etc. The deprivation of oxygen is also responsible factor for causing anemia. Anemia should not be left untreated else it could result into vomiting, anorexia, heart failure, heavy breathing etc.
