Insulin is a hormone secreted by beta cell located in the Islets of Langerhan’s present at the tail region of pancreas. The three cells present in pancreas are viz.
1. Alfa cell: it secretes hormone Glucagon
2. Beta cell: it secretes hormone insulin
3. Delta cell: it secretes somatostatin hormone.
